Anton Chekhov's Three SistersTHREE SISTERS

by Anton Chekhov

directed by Jack Stehlin
produced by Ron Sossi (Odyssey Theatre)
and Jeannine W. Stehlin (Circus Theatricals)

First performed in 1901, Anton Chekhov’s classic tale of life, love, and longing takes place at the turn of the last century in a provincial Russian village. Three educated sisters; Olga, Masha and Irina, along with their brother Andrey, dream of returning to their childhood home in Moscow, where they remember life to be more exciting and meaningful. As they begin to socialize with soldiers from the local military post (where their father was commander), their lives take an unexpected turn.

This production is adapted from a Russian translation by the cast and company members of Circus Theatricals. Live music throughout the performance, with original compositions and arrangements by composer Roger Bellon.
