William Shakespeare's JULIUS CAESAR

Shakespeare's political thriller launches Fall 2012 Season  

 

Los Angeles, CA (August 10, 2012) - Award-winning and critically-acclaimed theatre company The New American Theatre (formerly Circus Theatricals) announces that the first play of the Fall 2012 season is William Shakespeare's political thriller Julius Caesar.

Julius Caesar, directed by The New American Theatre Artistic Director Jack Stehlin, will be presented Fridays and Saturdays September 15, 2012 - October 20, 2012. Venue is the McCadden Place Theatre, 1157 N. McCadden Place, Hollywood, CA 90038. Tickets, at $25.00 can be purchased online at NewAmericanTheatre.com or by calling 310-701-0788.


ABOUT JULIUS CAESAR  

Shakespeare's Julius Caesar tells the tale of the murder plot against the Roman Empire's most popular ruler, his cold-blooded assassination by his trusted friends and known enemies, and the chaos that follows.  

"Julius Caesar has all the markings of a modern day political thriller," says Artistic Director and director Jack Stehlin, "we have politics, propaganda and personal choice - all things that today's audiences can really understand."
